Now that I've been back on here after a nice long break, I'm really enjoying myself. Discovering new artists and re-discovering old friends. One thing I really like is the new Groups and the way they handle submissions and display your work. I'm also loving the way deviation are now displayed in stacks. It's just my opinion but I've always been one to love and embrace change until the change gives me a reason to hate it.


I thought I would showcase some of the recent gems I have found by joining these groups.

It's been long enough I suppose... time to update this journal.
As you all may have noticed, I'm active on here again. The studio is still going but more of our work has slid to grphic design and websites. And interesting and fun change and one that pays better.

I have remarried since my last post. and I decided that we really do like each other and so we just jumped into it. Nov, 13, Friday we tied the knot and couldn't be happier.

I am headed back overseas for one last trip with the military this fall. Should be able to get some more good photos for the gallery. Good times.

The gallery opening went pretty well. We had terrible storms and rain which added to the flooding we already had in the Atlanta area. So we only had about 15 people show up. But overall the work was well received and we've been contacted about future projects. We are having another showing soon and adding a couple of more artists to our gallery. I'll be doing a feature on here very soon from the artists who are participating as their work is phenomenal.

I must apologize once again for the long absence. I am trying to keep things rolling but sometimes I get lost. Life is awesome and just keeps getting better!! Cheers!!

Hello fellow deviants! I'm happy to announce that we ( and and myself) are finally opening our gallery and studio in Duluth, GA. We still work our "corporate slave" jobs until it completely takes off but we are pushing forward with our dreams.

The official opening is Sept 26, 2009 at 7pm. If you would like to attend please send me a note so I can give you directions and add you to the guest list. Hello all... we have still more excitement in the works. We are moving into a larger place to accommodate an actual studio complete with easels, light kits, digital sound recording for video... and plenty of space to display our work and that of other artists. Still waiting on some work to be received from a couple of people but there's still time. We are also planning a trip to South Africa next March and before then a trip to New York City for a weekend via Amtrak. God ( or whatever entity you choose to believe in) has truly blessed us and we have no intentions of taking that for granted. We really appreciate the support from the dA community and I do plan on giving back to you all. I haven't said much but I've been loving the work you all have been posting and I have been trying to remedy that a little at a time. Please keep up the awesome work every one.

Yes, John, still planning a trip to the Black Hills... just trying to figure out when to plug it in. I really have been looking at a couple of hotels in Deadwood. It's always been a dream of mine to visit that city even before the tv series.
